Lillian graduated from Bangor High School.
She worked in a brokerage office. Later she was Business Manager and Direcotr of Utterbach Private Hospital (a mental hospital) in Bangor ME.
Lillian was State President of the Garden Club Federation of Maine. She was also very active in Zoxta Club, a club for executives.
