Henry Elias Yerxa

• Son of Elias Aaron Yerxa and Emma M. Dow
• Born December 1867 at Dow Settlement, NB
• Unmarried
• Worked in the cotton mills at Lewiston ME until his death
• Died 1888 at age 21
• His remains were returned to NB for burial in the Dow Cemetery by his brother Samual.

Henry's hobby was carving. He carved ornamental articles from wood with a pen knife. There were a couple of quite intricate pieces at his brother's old house at Lower Woodstock.
