Notes About Jeffrey Yerxa

On the death of his father, 25 November 1872, Jeffrey Yerxa was appointed executor along with Abraham D. Yerxa. Jeffrey was under 21 years of age at the time, probably about 17 or 18.

Isaac Allen Yerxa bequeathed to son Jeffrey, all bonds and mortages, all moneys & other securities, real estate and personal property. A codicil added to the will stated that Jeffrey and Abraham D. Yerxa collect any debts, note accounts or mortgages owing.

The will also directed that a legacy of $1500 be paid to son Daniel if he returned to Canada.
