John Weeks was born in 1804 of Irish descent. This family came up to Carleton County also, as they appear in the 1851 census of Woodstock Parish. John L. Weeks, 47, Irish, farmer, came to this country in 1840(???). His wife Catherine was 57 at this time. Children: George 18, John 16, Catherine 1.
Descendants are found in Grafton, across the St. John River from Woodstock, in the Newbridge area and also at Union Corner.
